Creative web design for BBC Worldwide's Doctor Who Adventures magazine.
Working with the internal web development team at BBC Worldwide, I was hired to tackle the first iteration of the Doctor Who Adventures website.
Taking a cue from the wealth of material that surrounds the Doctor Who brand, this design also had to echo the playful look and feel of the hard-copy magazine, which has a target audience of 6-13 year olds.
With that demographic in mind, the tone of the web design is easy to navigate and fun. On a commercial note, the site also had to promote visitors to subscribe to the magazine and its HTML newsletter.
Although no longer live in this format, this case study represents the site’s design as originally launched.
